Purpose of the study
This research is conducted with the goal of better understanding the users of the PASS Chem OER resource. We aim to understand the purpose of users accessing the resource, and gain user feedback. We intend to use our findings to inform future development of PASS Chem and improve our understanding of the reasons for user access. Our long-term objective is to improve the resource and develop a larger scale evaluation and assessment process. Results of the research will be published in peer reviewed literature and/or presented at conferences, details of which will be provided and linked on our website, www.passchem.ca. An executive summary of the research will also be available on the www.passchem.ca website.
Who can take part in this research study?
Any user of PASS Chem OER.
What you will be asked to do
Complete an anonymous survey taking less than 5 minutes.
Your participation is voluntary; you may withdraw at any time
If you wish to withdraw from the study, you can do so at any time prior to submitting the survey.
Once the survey is submitted since the data is anonymous, you can no longer withdraw.
Will you be compensated?
No compensation is provided.
Possible Risks and Benefits
This study is low-risk and is unlikely to cause any discomfort or unease. Your feedback will support future development and improvement of the PASS Chem resource.
Privacy and confidentiality
No personal identifying information will be collected within the survey.
All results reported/disseminated through presentations will be based on anonymous data.
